HOW ITS MADE
We are very particular about where and when we pull our ocean water. At high slack tide we get the clearest freshest water you can find far off the coast of Maine.
Once our boats are full we bring the ocean water to our greenhouses on the tidal river of York, Maine.
All great things take time and this is where we wait.
When the water reaches the perfect salinity some will be heated at a precise temperature to make our flake salt. The rest will be fully evaporated by the sun and combined with herbs and spices to become one of our delicious seasoning salts. Once our salt is ready, we package each of our salts by hand.
